Arisaka Type I

Here is a Arisaska type I chambered in 6.5x50. These are interesting rifles that were similar to the carcano made by italy but modified to be sold to Japan and in the Japanese 6.5 caliber. The rifle has had the stock repaired and sanded down enough that the finger grooves are almost gone. Two modern screws are holding the rear sling swivel in. Decent metal and bore and no import mark.
