JP Sauer & Sohn 1916 WW1 Gew98 Mauser

Here is a J.P. Sauer &Sohn Gew98m Mauser rifle made in 1916 at Suhl. Good solid rifle for 110 years old but is mismatched. Has a name written on the right side of the stock and maybe some water absorbed into the wood butt at some point? No import mark, good rifling but dark bore.
